Abstract

The crystal structure of lisetite CaNa (sub 2) Al (sub 4) Si (sub 4) O (sub 16) , a 8.260, b 17.086, c 9.654 A, space group Pbc2 (sub 1) , Z = 4, has been determined through direct methods using 1445 intensities to a final discrepancy index R = 0.026. The framework structure is compared with that of banalsite, the feldspars, and other tectosilicates.
