Abstract
The alteration of primary metamorphic mineral assemblages to secondary mineral assemblages, and the modification of the original compositions of primary metamorphic minerals that result from the interaction between pegmatite-derived fluid and quartz-mica schist are examined. Numerous rock analyses are accompanied by probe analyses of biotites, muscovites, tourmalines and chlorites.
