Abstract

The complex is composed of alkali granites emplaced 160 m.y. ago. The rocks have higher contents of Rb, Li, F, Sn, Nb and W than normal low-Ca granites, and have typical S-type characteristics. Mineralization is associated with a shallow-level, sheet-like body of biotite granite. The sheet is characterized by steep gradients in some minor and trace elements that are considered to result from liquid-state differentiation and/or volatile complexing.
