Abstract
The late Quaternary geochronology of the Lower Pomme de Terre Valley, Missouri, has been studied by radiocarbon dating of 154 samples from four terraces. The chronostratigraphic sequence indicates there were five major episodes of aggradation and degradation during the Wisconsinian and Holocene. A sixth alluvial deposit is probably Illinoian and older Pleistocene.
