Abstract

Enlargement of the lattice parameters. Synthesis at high temperatures (> or =700 degrees C) in the system CaO-TiO (sub 2) -SiO (sub 2) (+ or -H (sub 2) O). The unit-cell dimensions of the ideal end-member, CaTiSiO (sub 5) , are approximately: a = 7.054Aa, b = 8.703Aa, c = 6.551Aa and beta = 113.77 degrees .--Modified journal abstract.
