Abstract
Transmission electron microscopy. High-resolution imaging permits direct observation of structural fluctuations, whereas electron diffraction provides a highly sensitive probe of larger regions. Microanalysis using the electron beam holds potential for detecting and measuring compositional differences across small regions.--Modified journal abstract.
