Abstract

This Buchan-type metamorphic terrain contains assemblages of silicate, sulphide, oxide, and carbonate minerals metamorphosed from chlorite through to sillimanite-zone conditions. Apparently large volumes of fluid were passed through the schists, and drove the desulphidation reaction.
