Abstract

Geophysical surveying in the San Juan Basin involves a number of problems peculiar to the area. Magnetometer and gravity meter surveys are complicated by topography and the presence of Tertiary intrusives. Scarcity of water is a major problem for seismic crews. Some arrangements must be made for housing crew employees. Velocity and subsurface control are extremely limited.
