COVER: The Jacob Quartzite, part of the upper Rocky Cape Group in northwest Tasmania, southeast Australia. These rocks constitute a displaced fragment of a late Mesoproterozoic basin system that is also exposed in Grand Canyon, Arizona, USA. Correlation of these now widely separated basins forms a new piercing point for paleogeographic reconstructions of the supercontinent Rodinia. See “Rodinian devil in disguise: Correlation of 1.25–1.10 Ga strata between Tasmania and Grand Canyon” by Mulder et al., p. 991–994.
