Abstract
The rocks at Segwagwa hill and Dikgomo di Kae, near Kanye, southeastern Bechuanaland, have been assigned a Waterberg (Proterozoic) age, but recent study has shown their similarity to the Pretoria series (Proterozoic), with which they are here correlated. The possibility also exists that the Matsap series, formerly also considered equivalent to the Waterberg series, may be equivalent to the Gamagara series and Loskop system.
