Abstract
East of Loyoro in the Karamoja district, northeast Uganda, a dolerite dike and flow have been noted. The dike strikes north-south, is about six feet wide, and is medium-to coarse-textured. A chemical analysis is given. The flow is a fine-grained, dark blue rock. A Pleistocene age is suggested, which is younger than the nepheline volcanic rocks along the eastern Uganda border.
