Abstract
Gives crystallographic and optical data for authigenic quartz and feldspar crystals in the insoluble residues from the Simonstone and Middle Limestones of Darnbrook Fell and the ridge between Littondale and Wharfedale, England. This is the first occurrence in Britain in which authigenic quartz and feldspar occur together.
