Abstract

Describes a conodont fauna, in which 17 genera and 34 species are represented, occurring in the Eumorphoceras aff. pseudobilingue marine band, of upper Carboniferous age, at Cauldon, northern England. New species are Hibbardella fragilis, H. pennata, Lambdagnathus macrodentata, Mestognathus bipluti, Neoprioniodus spathatus, and Subbryantodus subaequalis. Correlation with American and German faunas is discussed.
