Abstract

The intricacies of paleobotanic nomenclature as it applies to spore nomenclature are explored, and examples are cited of practices that are possible under the International Code. Organ-genera, form-genera, dilemma groups, selection of types, and other pertinent items are discussed. It is pointed out that new proposals must first be accepted by the International Botanical Congress before being used.
