Abstract

An abundant fauna characterizes the upper Jurassic Kurnub limestone of the Wadi Hathira area in southern Israel. The section consists of Eligmus-Erymnoceras limestones and marls, Eligmus-Grossouvria marls with limestone, Somalirhynchia-Putealiceras marls and limestones, Shuqraia limestones with marl, and Cladocoropsis marls and limestones. The faunas are listed.
