Abstract

In continuation of an investigation of the mineralogy of the differentiated teschenite sill near Gunnedah, New South Wales, optical and chemical data are given for the clinopyroxenes. The composition range approximates Ca 49 Mg 37 Fe 14 to Ca 47 Mg 33 Fe 20 . The composition zoning and crystallization trend, in relation to the other minerals present and the bulk rock, are discussed.
