Abstract

It is hoped that study of plant microfossils will prove useful in correlation of Wealden (Cretaceous) outcrops in England and on the continent. A new organ-genus of large spores is erected, Pyrobolospora, and in it are put one new species, P. vectis, and several re-interpreted species of lower Cretaceous age. Triletes galericulatus is emended, and the new species, T. retiarius, is made.
