Abstract

The Strath Errick and Foyers district, Inverness-shire, Scotland, is composed of middle Old Red Sandstone (Devonian), the Foyers "granite" complex comprising tonalite, granodiorite, and granite with some appinite, Moine schists, and the Gleann Liath series which is probably of Lewisian age (pre-Cambrian).
