This is a remarkable book written by two acclaimed ichnologists one of whom, Luis
Buatois, is actually the President of the International Ichnological Association. In
this treatise, the authors deal with all aspects of ichnology, but mainly concentrate on
relations between invertebrate trace fossils and depositional environments. It will be
of most use to sedimentologists because of its value for environmental reconstructions.
