Fifty-two papers spread over more than 1110 pages. Divided into three volumes, they provide an enormous mass of information on much of the global distribution of epicontinental Triassic rocks, their lithological, faunal and floral build-up and climatic development. The volumes are the Proceedings of an International Symposium on Epicontinental Triassic, held in Halle, Germany, September 21–23, 1998. Because they are published as parts 7 to 12 of a journal, volume one begins on page 475 and was published in the year before the other two volumes.
