Fossiliferous material was collected from a black, slightly sheared limestone on the Uribe trail, approximately 90 miles south of Bogota, Colombia. The material includes Paradoxides sp. (first record in South America), Peronopsis or Hypagnostus sp., Ehmania cf. akanthophora, and E. cf. amphibola. The age is middle Cambrian.
