Nassir S. Al-Arifi is currently the director of visiting professor program, vice rectorate for scientific research at KSU, and a full professor specializing in earthquake seismology at the Department of Geology and Geophysics, College of Science, King Saud University, Riyadh. He received his Ph.D. from University of Manchester, UK. He has published more than 35 articles in peer-reviewed journals and supervised more than 15 M.Sc. theses.
