Marcelle BouDagher-Fadel was a Professorial Research Associate at University College London, where she spent her academic life for over 40 years. She was an internationally recognised expert on Larger Benthic and Planktonic Foraminifera. Marcelle's outstanding microscope skills enabled her to identify, at the species level, randomly sectioned fossil foraminifera in rock thin sections, dating from the Holocene to the Carboniferous.
