ALBERTO D. ALBANI 1935–2021

Alberto Albani was a marine geologist and foraminiferal micropaleontologist of note for his studies on modern estuarine and harbour environments in both Australia and Italy. He was born in Florence, Italy, and developed a love of geology while accompanying his surveyor father around northern Italy in the years after WW2.
