Few studies have focused on biofouling or feeding behavior of Foraminifera. This note reports predation by the foraminifer Poroeponides lateralis on the encrusting bryozoan Schizobrachiella verrilli, and discusses the scarcity of information about the interactions of Foraminifera with other marine organisms.
