In the vicinity of Winterborne Abbas, west of Dorchester, southern England, the chalk rock (upper Cretaceous) contains pebbles of upper Greensand material. It is suggested that these inclusions may be the result of movement and erosion on the Weymouth anticline to the south during the deposition of the chalk rock.
