Dr. Ed Landing

The Douglas Medal is annually awarded to a geoscientist who has made an outstanding contribution to understanding sedimentary geology in Canada. The award honours Bob Douglas, editor of the famous book Geology and Economic Minerals of Canada. This year’s recipient is Dr. Ed Landing, who is presently State Paleontologist and Curator of Paleontology with the New York State Museum in Albany. Awarding the 2007 R.J.W.
