On 8 January 2020, all 176 people aboard Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 died when it crashed after takeoff near Tehran, Iran. Canadian Science Publishing extends deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who died. We grieve the loss of life.
Our thoughts turn also to the universities across Canada that have been affected by this tragedy. Of the 136 passengers en route to Canada, many were students, academics, or alumni — cherished members of the research communities we serve. We will never know what they would have discovered or how they would have contributed to our changing...
