"'Wurtzite' from Llallagua, Bolivia, is a mixture of polytypes but a 2H structure is present which is shown by syntheses and x-ray diffraction to have the composition (Zn (sub 0.43) Mn (sub 0.31) Fe (sub 0.26) )S within about 5 percent uncertainty. This is much lower in zinc than any recorded analyses of wurtzite, but it might be considered to be a ferroan variety of erythrozincite. There are some data which suggest that the ideal composition of erythrozincite is ZnMnS 2 ."
