John Leslie Jambor (1936–2008) left an indelible mark on the Mineralogical Association of Canada (MAC) and on mineralogy in general. His passing gave rise to eloquent obituary notices, for example in American Mineralogist (volume 93, pages 710–712). There, one can appreciate the scope of John's interests in a list of selected publications. Also listed there are MAC short-course volumes and thematic issues organized and carefully edited by John.
