This volume documents the geology and occurrence of orbicular rocks in Finland. Orbicules are cm- to dm-scale spherical entities found in plutonic rocks and are characterized by their mm-thick concentric shells that alternate shell-by-shell in their mineralogy. The purpose of the publication “is to provide brief descriptions of orbicular rocks” and, to “inspire scientists to study them more carefully”.
