Canada Rocks (subtitled “The Geologic Journey”) is a mammoth, massive (1.84 kg), copiously illustrated paperback that bristles with hundreds of illustrations in full color – chiefly photographs, but also maps, cross-sections and various diagrams. Most of the photos are exceptionally well reproduced. A book as large as this one should, however, be hardbound. My copy, just in going through this review, got a bit dog-eared.
