To review a highly specialized book in German like Das Buch vom Tauerngold (The book on gold from the Tauern Mountains) for English-speaking readers presents a problem. Will they be at all interested in 568 pages in a foreign language? Apparently the authors (two geologists and one historian) have learned from their first edition (2000) that some language help is needed.
