I am very pleased to introduce Anthony E. Williams-Jones, this year’s recipient of the Mineralogical Association of Canada’s Past-Presidents’ Medal. With this prestigious award, the MAC recognizes Willy’s career accomplishments in the area of ore deposits research. He has applied geochemistry and mineralogy to understand the complex interplay of processes leading to ore deposits of hydrothermal type.
