Abstract

Bouguer gravity maps can be quite valuable in oil and gas exploration to obtain regional deep-structure form-line maps. Such maps critically help to assess regional oil and gas migration pathways. Quick data turnaround and low cost make this approach especially valuable for early exploration phases in large or remote basins on- and offshore.
