Abstract

The Beaver Dam exposure is reached by taking Arkansas 187 south from its junction with U.S. 62 immediately south of Busch, Arkansas (Fig. 1). Arkansas 187 crosses Beaver Dam and a turnoff to the dam site overlook is located approximately 0.25 mi (0.4 km) south of the dam. Parking maybe found at the overlook. This exposure occupies NW¼Sec.10, T.20N., R.27W., Carroll County, Arkansas.
