Abstract

One More continent remained to be visited, and in the spring of 1907 Penrose set forth to study the ore deposits of South America, a trip which occupied him from March until November. Again, the record is complete, with letters to his father, diary, and notebooks. Before he started, he again wrote to Hoover.
