Deep seismic profiles, recorded in the foothills of the Northern Emirates, image the thrust-belt architecture and document the wide underthrusting of Mesozoic sedimentary units in the footwall of the Hawasina–Sumeini allochthon in the Dibba Zone, beneath the Semail Ophiolite.
