Abstract

Following a classified listing of the stratiform deposits of lead, zinc and barite found in the carbonate formations of the three structural regions of Morocco, the author concludes that the emplacement of these mineralizations was epigenetic, effected by warm waters possibly related to a basic or alkaline magmatic episode. Several recurrences (of mineralization) are found in certain deposits.
