The lead-zinc ore deposits of this type occur in several horizons, mainly Triassic. After a short geological review and a summary of the auxiliary methods of investigation used in these regions, the working hypothesis developed is that the deposits have been formed almost contemporaneously with the surrounding rocks or only slightly later. Therefore they exhibit both sedimentary and hydrothermal characteristics.
