Abstract

The Naica District is located in the south-central part of the state of Chihuahua, at an elevation of 1,385 m.a.s.l., 110 km southeast in a straight line from Chihuahua city. Two paved roads reach the district, one from the town of Conchos (26 km), and another from the town of Delicias (56 km); both on the Panamerican Highway (Fig. 1).
