Thin-Skinned Gravity Sliding as a Mechanism for Growth Faulting

Abstract

Thin-skinned gravity gliding occurs at relatively shallow depths and is not triggered by deeper deformation. However, deeper deformation can eventually spread upward to deform the growth faults.
