Abstract

Synergism in formation evaluation enhances reservoir characterization by combining data that describes reservoir properties at microscopic, macroscopic, megascopic, and gigascopic scales (Table 1). This paper describes new technologies that make valuable contributions to a reservoir data base at each of these four descriptive scale levels.
