It appears to be relatively unique in that it presents much high level, if generalized concepts, of hazards assessment, risk uncertainty and, in some cases, hazard communication ideas for working with decision makers and the public. In general, the volume contains a good discussion on what are epistemic and aleatory uncertainties.
