In their recent note on the “Fusulinid-Bearing Rocks in Sublett Range, Southern Idaho,”3 Youngquist and Haegele present valuable information on the thickness, lithologic character, and fauna of the rocks of late Paleozoic age in a relatively little known area of south-central Idaho. They note the presence of Triassic rocks as well as calcareous and arenaceous rocks of Wolfcampian and Pennsylvanian age, but in their “Summary and Interpretation of Data” (pp. 2083-84) they state:

And further:

They conclude:

We agree with the substance of this conclusion but feel that data acquired by us and others during investigations of western phosphate...
