INTRODUCTION.—During recent field work in northern British Honduras for the Bahamas Exploration Company, Ltd., it was found that the published geological information on this part of the Colony contained at least two fundamental errors: one source shows the presence of pre-Cambrian outcrops and a second source indicates that the northern part of the Colony is underlain by Oligocene limestones.
