The presentation of an effective talk rests on basic principles which can be learned. Certain general rules of organization, style and presentation have been tested by experience. Numerous helpful texts exist on this subject, some of which are available at almost all libraries. There are presented herein some of the more important considerations as they seem to apply to meetings of the A.A.P.G. When these techniques are mastered through study and practice, they will bring confidence and satisfaction to the speaker and increased benefits and pleasure to his audience.
