The well core containing graphtolites is from the lower part of the Viola limestone from Hargrave well No. 1, NE. , SE. , SE. of Sec. 36, T. 4 S., R. 2 W., Carter County, Oklahoma. The well is in the southeast flank of the Bayou oil field, and the core is from the bottom of the well at 4,569-4,575 feet. Part of the core was supplied by W.
