We wish to extend our thanks to C. W. Siller and E. A. Webb for pointing out several errors in our recent paper “Oil Exploration in Australia,” even though these appear to be of a relatively minor nature. In any paper summarizing oil exploration in a country as large as Australia it is unlikely that the personal opinions expressed by the authors will meet with universal approval.
