Three outcrops observed during a recent reconnaissance surface survey of Mills County, Texas, by the writer and Roland Robertson are believed to be important to the understanding of the Pennsylvanian stratigraphy and structural history of Texas. Enough work was not done to state fully the relation of all the beds in the area but brief notes about the exposures may give geologists some clues to help solve the problems of the Pennsylvanian.
